تصميم الابتسامة والفينير الخزفي
The question most people bring to this room is how much tooth will be removed. With planned veneers the answer is usually a fraction of a millimetre of enamel, and sometimes none at all. We show you the plan on a wax model before anything touches your teeth.

How it works
Step 01
We photograph, scan and talk about what you want to change. The first visit is free.
Visit 1, day 1
Step 02
The new smile is waxed on a model and tried in your mouth with temporary material. You approve the shape before any preparation.
Visit 2, day 2 or 3
Step 03
Enamel is shaped only where the design needs it, guided by the model. Temporaries protect the teeth while the porcelain is made.
Same visit
Step 04
The porcelain is tried in, checked for shade and fit, and bonded. A review follows a week later, or by photographs if you have travelled.
Visit 3, day 5 to 7

What it costs
The cost of veneers depends on the number of teeth, the ceramic system and whether the plan includes whitening of the remaining teeth. In our clinic a per-tooth figure is given in writing after the first consultation, once the plan is agreed. Porcelain veneers start from EGP 9,000 per tooth. Payment plans are available.
Questions patients ask
Planned veneers remove a thin layer of enamel, often under half a millimetre, and sometimes none. The tooth underneath stays alive and healthy when the preparation is conservative and the gums are kept clean.
Studies on porcelain veneers commonly report ten to fifteen years or more when they are bonded to enamel and the patient does not grind. Night guards and regular reviews extend that.
Veneers look artificial when they are too white, too thick or all the same shape. We design each tooth individually, keep translucency at the edges and match the shade to your face, not to a chart.
Preparation is done under local anaesthetic. Some sensitivity to cold for a few days afterward is normal and settles. Bonding itself is not painful.
Usually three: consultation and design, preparation with temporaries, and bonding. Patients from abroad complete this in five to seven days.
Composite is added directly to the tooth in one visit and costs less, but it stains and chips sooner. Porcelain is made in a laboratory, keeps its shade and lasts longer.
