People want to know what goes into the jaw and whether it will hurt. An implant is a small titanium post placed under local anaesthetic in a visit that is usually shorter than a filling appointment. Most patients describe the days after as mild soreness managed with ordinary painkillers.

How it works
Step 01
A 3D scan shows bone height and width. You receive a written plan with the number of implants, any grafting needed, and the timeline.
Visit 1
Step 02
The implant is placed under local anaesthetic. A sinus lift or bone graft, when needed, is done in the same visit or a few months before.
Visit 1 or 2
Step 03
Bone bonds to the implant over three to six months. A temporary tooth or denture covers the gap.
3 to 6 months
Step 04
The connector and final crown are fitted over two or three short visits.
Second trip, 3 to 5 days

What it costs
Implant cost depends on the implant system, whether bone grafting or a sinus lift is needed, and the type of crown. A single implant with its crown starts from EGP 28,000; full arch solutions are quoted per arch. A written quotation follows the 3D scan, and payment plans are available.
Questions patients ask
Placement is done under local anaesthetic and most patients feel pressure rather than pain. Expect mild soreness for two or three days, managed with ordinary painkillers.
Typically four to six months, because bone needs time to bond to the implant before the crown is fitted. Grafting adds a few months. Patients from abroad plan two trips.
Bone grafting and sinus lifts rebuild the area so an implant can be placed. This is routine in our clinic and is planned from the 3D scan.
With healthy gums and regular cleaning, implants commonly last decades. The crown on top may need replacing after ten to fifteen years of wear.
Yes. A fixed full arch bridge is usually supported on four to six implants per jaw. We also offer implant-retained dentures that click in and out for cleaning.
No. A temporary tooth, bridge or denture covers the gap while the implant heals.
